Our 21st Year!

This year marks the 21st year of the Amethyst Junior Curling Camp.  The camp started in Thunder Bay in 1997, and moved to Sudbury 15 years ago.  Many of our campers have gone on to become provincial and national champions.

The Amethyst Curling Camp in Sudbury has a sensational setting at Laurentian University and an olympic size ice surface at Countryside Arena.  The camp features many of the top coaches and instructors in Canada adn offers three placements for young curlers:  Intermediate, Advanced, and High Performance.  If you're a junior or bantam age curlers (13-19), Amethyst offers you a wonderful setting to improve your curling skills and make new friends.

The year's edition will run from July 2nd to July 7th, 2017.

Please note that a bus will be available for campers and will leave Thunder Bay Saturday July 1st in the evening, and arrive in Sudbury July 2nd (Sunday morning).   The bus, which travels along the Highway 11 Corridor, will make the return trip leaving Sudbury at noon on Friday July 7th, arriving in Thunder Bay in the very early morning hours Saturday July 8th. 2016 Amethyst Curling Camp in Sudbury, ON
